Esports & Gaming Internship
We’re always looking for interns to help take events to the next level and to help them take the next step in their esports and gaming careers.
The role is split 50% in Event Organizing & Promoting and 50% in developing a path into your chosen gaming-related profession.
Internships are 3mo long, 5~10 hrs a week. Event attendance is required but get this… you get to play video games and have fun 🤯.

The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for the gaming industry and has experience in event organization to ensure that our tournaments are up to the highest expectations of participants and sponsors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing the tournaments and events for DCG, host on-site events, provide on-site support and event administrative duties as required
Check space availability and update team calendars.
Send out invitations, book private parties on special occasions, and organize corporate events
Work with other Tournament Organizers to enter, create bracket rules, and check the event/tournament status in tournament management systems.
Regular meetings with ownership to review details of the event and ensure accuracy of set-ups, timing, and other details of the tournaments
Identify event and sponsorship opportunities
Maintain good relationships with a wide range of event-associated contacts
Organize and distribute all relevant event and marketing materials including flyers, brochures, social media, and collateral printed materials
No experience necessary
Required Skills/Abilities:
A student seeking college credit is a plus
Experience in hosting local events a plus
An understanding of the gaming industry and the ecosystem of esports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and be comfortable in being self-directed
Ability to work efficiently in a demanding and fast-paced, high energy environment
A team player who can act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required - No egos allowed.
Effectively manage and reconcile simple event budgets
Able to deliver well-organized, high-quality events timely and on budget
Strong problem-solving skills
